Beauty Wishlist: Charlotte Tilbury

I’m so stoked when I heard the products of UK celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury will finally be available in The Netherlands. Just as I was planning my getaway to London for some serious beauty shopping, our biggest department store de Bijenkorf announced the launch of miss Tilbury’s products in our little country. For those of you who don’t know Charlotte Tilbury, allow me to introduce, her products are every beauty lover’s dream. And ofcourse I already prepared my wishlist featuring the products I’d love to shop asap.

I tracked down Charlotte Tilbury a few years ago, actually through another great UK Make Up Artist Lisa Eldridge (also creative director for Lancôme). Like Lisa, Charlotte Tilbury has her own YouTube channel where she shares tips and tricks featuring her own lovely products. She has famous clientele, like Kate Moss, Blake Lively, Jennifer Aniston and among her clients is also my latest girl crush; Amal Clooney. Charlotte was actually the one who did Amal’s bridal make-up on her wedding. Here is a tutorial of how she made the look:

Stunning right?

Charlotte Tilbury is also known for her expertise in red carpet looks, which is a very hard job according to professional make-up artists. She has been a make-up artist now for 20 years and she is the first make-up artist that recently opened her own very first store in Covent Garden in London. In this interview you can read a lot about how she started out and what her passion really is.

Although would love to buy just about every single product, I have to make choices since the products are great but pricey. These products I’m crushing about and I’d love to get my hands on:

Charlotte Tilbury – Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette
Charlotte Tilbury – Bond Girl Lipstick
Charlotte Tilbury – Wonderglow Face Primer

The Dolce Vita Palette had gorgeous colors that I think will work lovely on my skintone. I love the deep red sort of velour colour and the deep shimmer brown. Her eyeshadows look very pigmented as well.

The Wonderglow primer is great for lifting up dull skin and making sure make-up stays in place at the same time. I can’t wait to mix this in with foundation to create that dewy look.

Bond Girl is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s best sellers and I think I know why. It looks like the perfect subtle red that you can wear everyday.

I’d like to combine this with the lip liner in the shade Pillow Talk. Did you know Pillow Talk is also one of blogger Negin Mirsalehi’s favorites?

Some people like to buy designer clothes, I would love to spend my money on good products like these. As I said, I have to make choices, cause they are going to cost me quite a lot but these products I really like to get my hands on. Just a few weeks to go and then I can purchase these babies.

What is your favourite Charlotte Tilbury product? What would you recommend?
